Zedd's Not Dead Baby: DJ To Begin Omnia Residency With January 7th Show
2017 has set high stakes for Anton Zaslavski, the Russian sweetheart that the electronic dance music genre recognizes as DJ/producer, “Zedd.”
Fresh off the release of a complex remix of DJ Snake’s Justin Bieber feature, “Let Me Love You,” the “Clarity” hit maker will follow the success of his recent Snake/Bieber re-imagination with the beginning of his residency at Las Vegas hotspot, Omnia Nightclub. Managed by the global hospitality company, Hakkasan Group, Omnia Nightclub—located in Caesar’s Palace—offers 75,000 square feet of dazzling club space for attendees. With its views of the Vegas strip and various levels, it is no wonder that Omnia is hailed as Las Vegas’s premiere club, host to the performances of the most prestigious DJs in electronic dance music.
After the release of his second studio album on May 18, 2015, “True Colors,” a project that offered fans and new listeners alike a closer look at Zedd’s musical style and production skills, Zedd rightfully claims a residency among fellow top rate acts. The residency will allow Zedd to consistently play at Jewel, Hakkasan, and Wet Republic in 2017, in addition to Omnia.
The residency kicks off with Zedd’s show at Omnia on Saturday, January 7th, an inaugural event that is sure to be special considering the venue's ability to support advanced effects systems--like lighting systems, for example-- to enhance the quality of a show. The January 7th show that will formally induct Zedd as an Omnia resident will immediately be followed by another on Saturday, January 21st, and then a following show on Tuesday, March 14th. An immersive and intense live performer that stuns with breathtaking visuals and laser shows, you won’t want to miss Zedd at Omnia, but since what happens in Vegas is quite literally staying in Vegas, there will be countless opportunities to see Anton perform at Omnia after March 14th.
