Early Preview of New Zaeden Track Solidifies Developing DJ As Rising Talent
The first letter of his stage name places him at the very end of the alphabet, but in our book, his talent is first rate, earning him our first trending artist feature of 2017. Episode #49 of Sam Feldt’s SoundCloud supported radio stream, “Heartfeldt Radio” would offer its listeners an exclusive taste of “City of The Lonely Hearts,” a smooth, deep house track produced by Zaeden, yet not set to release until January 13th. Intrigued by Zaeden’s undeniably unique style, we worked to uncover the sample of the song played on Heartfeldt Radio so as to offer our followers a “sneak peek” of what is to come when the single officially drops in eleven days. Since its December 17, 2016 posting on YouTube, the video has amassed a mere 2,845 views, a testament to the track’s novelty, albeit a novelty that will prove to be short lived in the coming weeks. Preview “City of The Lonely Hearts” below.
Hailing from Gurgaon, a city in northern India, Zaeden, a practicing DJ since the age of 14, made waves in November of 2014 where he became the first Indian DJ/producer to be signed with Spinnin’ Records. A self proclaimed “conqueror” of the Indian dance music scene on his Facebook artist “About” page—Zaeden is notable for his win of MyFav India’s #1 House DJ/Artist award for the 2015-2016 year— Zaeden currently trains his vision on American dance music territory to break through with equal force. With the anticipated official release of “City of The Lonely Hearts,” and his past projects, including the Nina & Malika partnered July 29th released “Never Let You Go”—via Spinnin’ Records—and remix of Maroon 5’s suggestive “Animals” tune, Zaeden’s ascendance to the forefront of American dance music should hardly be an arduous one.
