Are The Chainsmokers Collaborating With Justin Bieber?

Recently involved on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's remix of "Despacito," and his voice dominating DJ Khaled's latest production, "I'm The One," Justin Bieber possesses vocals that rank among some of the most distinctive in the music industry.

Lending his infamous voice to his own Bieber branded tracks, in addition to staples of the dance music genre--think Jack Ü's "Where Are U Now" and DJ Snake's "Let Me Love You"--the Canadian singer has time and time again transcended musical genre to make an impression on listeners around the world.

Social media platforms such as Twitter have become especially instrumental in anticipation of the next news in the music industry, allowing users to observe interactions between other artists active on the platform. Notorious for their tendency to show love to artists that they've already worked with, or are seeking to collaborate with are American duo, The Chainsmokers. With Drew Taggart and Alex Pall's habit of hinting at their collaborations through their Twitter account, the possibility of a forthcoming Justin Bieber/Chainsmokers joint product appears likely, the duo having publically acknowledged the "Sorry" singer with a single red heart emoji in a tweet.

While the tweet may simply emerge as a follow up nod to the Biebs following their recent crossing of paths at 1 Oak, fans have speculated that the tweet is a subtle allusion to the next singer to be featured on The Chainsmokers's next single, when another single comes due. The Chainsmokers are clearly keeping Bieber "Company," but whether the social association will result in a collaboration is yet to be seen.
