A New David Guetta/Bieber Collab Will Drop Friday
Another Justin Bieber branded hit looms on the horizon. Following in the footsteps of the commercial success initiated by Bieber’s contributions to Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s remix of “Despacito,” and to DJ Khaled’s Lil Wayne and Chance the Rapper tune, “I’m The One,” will be David Guetta’s next production, a single title “2 U,” due out Friday.
The news of the forthcoming release was delivered by Bieber via Twitter this morning; Bieber’s original tweet appears above. David Guetta is no stranger to merging strong vocalists with dance music beats, his most recent Nicki Minaj partnership on “Light My Body Up,” and his comparatively older Sia track, “Titanium,” serving as examples that testify to the DJ’s large and diverse collaborative history. Bieber is most celebrated within the dance music genre for his vocals on Jack U's 2015 jewel, "Where Are U Now." 2 U will serve as an extension of Bieber's work on music produced within the EDM genre.
