Justin Bieber cancels remaining shows of Purpose World Tour
Justin Bieber added to his already expansive Purpose World Tour initiative last week, announcing a slew of new shoes with support to be provided from Martin Garrix, Vic Mensa, Migos, and Kehlani depending on the city. The extension of the tour was ambitious, with Bieber having already logged 150 shows across 6 continents under the Purpose World Tour bill.
Yet “due to unforeseen cicumstances,” Bieber has abruptly cancelled the remainder of the tour’s shows. “Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them,” notes the official statement posted hours ago on Bieber’s official Facebook artist page, “…However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates.” Ticket refunds will be processed, reimbursing those affected by the “unforeseen” cancellations.
