The Meadows Returns for September Sequel With Diverse Lineup
Monday has proven to be a day rife with lineup announcements, with Pretty Lights’s Derek Vincent Smith unveiling the names of those on the bill for his tropical Island of Light festival, and New York City’s Meadows Music and Arts Festival likewise revealing a stacked lineup of choice talent for its September 15th-17th sequel.
Returning to Citi Field in Queens, The Meadows will be headlined by Jay Z, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, LL Cool J, Migos, Future, Nas, Weezer, and many more. The festival will notably host Bassnectar, GTA, A-Trak, and the Gorillaz, those performers’ attendance serving as the hip hop dominated event’s chief representation of the dance music genre.
Tickets to the New York festival will go on sale on Wednesday, May 10th at 12 PM. A “very limited” number of Early Bird passes to the event will be available at the following price points: GA 3-Day Early Bird at $275, GA 3-Day Advance at $290, and GA 3-Day Regular at $305.
The Meadows will also offer VIP and Platinum ticket packages. VIP packages will start at $650, including access to select VIP viewing areas, charging stations, exclusive bar access, and separate entrance lanes for festival admission. Platinum ticket packages begin at $2,500, and will feature on-stage viewing where ticket holders will be “almost face to face with the artists,” access to backstage guest areas, all regular VIP viewing areas, food vendor tokens, and more.
