If The Rumor is True, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Flying Lotus to Headline Camp Bisco

What do we like more than a festival’s official lineup announcement? That’s right, a festival’s rumored lineup announcement.

It’s no secret that festival season is around the corner, with New York’s Mysteryland having announced its lineup on February 9th, Miami’s Ultra Music Festival having dropped its second and final phase the same day, and previously, Atlanta’s Shaky Beats Festival, Vermont’s Minus Zero Fest, and Texas’s Middlelands Festival. While still currently unannounced, Maryland’s Moonrise Festival has advanced towards a future lineup reveal via its posting of the August festival’s dates—August 12th and 13th—and its subsequent sale of tickets to the two-day event.

As excitement has swirled in the midst of countless lineup disclosures, one festival has notably remained quiet: PA’s three-day Camp Bisco camping festival. Yet according to “The Wook of Wall Street,” a “blogger/photographer” that may be found on Facebook, and additionally at thewookofwallstreet.com, Camp Bisco plans to break its silence sooner rather than later, this week, specifically.

In a post that surfaced on The Wook’s Facebook page close to twenty-four-hours ago, the anonymous wook references a rumor regarding the festival’s headliners, supporting acts, and forthcoming ticket sale. The post has quite the scoop, if true. Appearing below, the post cites Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, and Flying Lotus as Camp Bisco’s 2017 headliners. According to the post, Shpongle, Space Jesus, G Jones, Ganja White Night, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will also appear. Tickets to Camp Bisco will supposedly go on sale to festival alumni this week, “shortly followed by [an] official lineup announcement.”

Whether or not there is any credibility to these statements will be determined this week, if alumni tix do indeed become available for purchase. Camp Bisco has recently deleted its 2016 website, and posted a purple logo, shown above, an action that seems to confirm the book's suspicions. The “Wook of Wall Street” has already accurately predicted the transfer of Bassnectar’s “Basslanta event to Atlantic City, New Jersey, so perhaps the “Wook of Wall Street” page is worth a perusal. Official links to the wook’s Facebook page and website appear below, along with the Bisco Facebook post.

As always, we’ll be watching and waiting for another lineup announcement—your move, Camp Bisco.
