REZZ Unveils New Track, Prepares to Kick Off "Something Wrong Here" Tour

REZZ dropped “Fourth Impact”—the K?d team up track teased back in December of 2016—this past Friday, February 3rd, enough of a reason to assert that all is well in the EDM world, coincidentally as REZZ prepares to embark on her eighteen stop “Something Wrong Here” tour. With its inaugural show at Nectar Nightclub in Canada on Wednesday, February 8th, the Something Wrong Here tour concludes at Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Music Festival on Saturday, June 10th, with the mau5trap label DJ/producer as the 2017 tour’s headliner, a visible progression of REZZ’s growth since 2016.

Pulling inspiration from dubstep holy grail, Bassnectar, and Parisian ambassador of techno, Gesaffelstein, REZZ’s style, an outlandish, entrancing blend of dark, psychedelic techno elements and heavy bass lines, earned the twenty-one-year-old Ontario native dual acclaim: since her 2015 debut, REZZ has turned heads on account of her young age—breaking into the industry at only nineteen-years— and captivated ears with her sinister beats. If anyone is ahead of her time, it’s REZZ.

An ominous track woven with alien electronic sounds, “Fourth Impact” rises as a hallmark of REZZ’s musical oddities, and furthermore, a portent of the haunting sets to be expected as the products of the Something Wrong Here Tour. If there’s “something wrong” with vibing to REZZ’s foreboding tracks, we’ll simply say we never wanted “something right” anyway.
