Deadmau5 Announces March 31st Output Appearance

Deadmau5’s highly anticipated “lots of shows in a row” Spring tour officially kicked off in Bogota, Colombia on Saturday, March 25th as rumors swirled that the “Strobe” producer might arise as an unexpected addition to the Sunday lineup of Ultra Music Festival. Deadmau5 dispelled the suspicions on his Twitter account: “Not happening” he wrote, “I’m in Bogota for the night then straight back to rehearsals.”

Somewhat of a known perfectionist, it’s understandable that the producer has strived to spend as much time rehearsing for the Spring collection of more than twelve shows, spanning New York, Camden, Seattle, Detroit, Oakland, and Los Angeles, among other cities, most of which are already sold out, or teeter on the edge of sold out status. Deadmau5 has even noted on Twitter weeks prior to the Bogota commencement that more dates can expected to be added at the halfway point of the tour—if there’s anything to admire about the DJ besides his musical mastery, it’s his drive.

Drum and bass/electro house producer, Feed Me, was not too long ago announced as a fixture of the Spring tour, but will now additionally be joining Deadmau5 at Brooklyn’s Output nightclub, renowned for its sound system and underground vibe. ATTLAS, No Mana, and Blackgummy will also be in attendance to offer support on March 31st, in what will be an “afterparty” to Deadmau5’s sold out March 31st show at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The “Snowcone” visionary is slated to play the Ballroom a total of four times from March 29th-April 1st. Given that each show is sold out, the Output listing can also be expected to sell out with comparable rapidity.
