Osheaga Festival Reveals 2017 Lineup With Choice EDM Talent
Just when it seemed that one stage of the forthcoming festival season—lineup revelation—had given way to another—pass purchase marked by eager anticipation—Canada’s music and arts festival, Osheaga, unveiled its lineup, a tasteful blend of indie and electronic dance music.
The three-day affair—in what will be a farewell to the summer and 2017 festival season—will be hosted in Montreal, Quebec beginning on Friday, August 4th, and concluding on Sunday, April 6th. Beyond the headlining talent—The Weeknd, Muse, Lorde—artists representative of alternative R&B, alternative rock, and pop genres, among others unlisted, rises the electronic dance music genre, a genre with an unmistakable presence on Osheaga’s 2017 lineup. The lineup notably includes house duo, Justice, Major Lazer, rap rave hip hop group, Die Antwoord, Zeds Dead, Tove Lo, Snails, Matoma, and fk a genre’s Mija. Just as the Canadian festival has procured a variety of artists indicative of various different genres, the festival has likewise booked DJs and producers of countless EDM subgenres.
While French may not be a necessity packed with the likes of sunscreen and chewing gum for maximum festival preparation, it does seem to be a tool useful in the purchase of passes to Oshega, which may be purchased via the link below. The Oshega offers both a French and an English version of their official website, where GA passes are currently on sale for $320, gold passes for $585, and platinum passes for $1150.
