Odesza Confirms New Music Will Drop Tomorrow
Mere days ago we noted that “Sun Models” tastemakers, Odesza, might be releasing new music soon, our cue credited to a new playlist that quietly surfaced on the Seattle producers’ Spotify artist page.
The playlist’s title a line of symbols presumed to be Morse Code, once interpreted using a Morse Code key, the title translated to “4.25,” or April 25th, leading us to believe that the DJ duo would release new music on that date, in anticipation of their upcoming performance at Colorado’s picturesque Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Saturday, May 27th.
Our conjecture has since proven to be correct, thanks to a Facebook post that appeared on Odesza’s Facebook page today. In a style similar to The Chainsmokers’ announcement of their debut album, Odesza collected a series of tweets asking for new music, and assembled the series of tweets montage style in a video. The final post is composed by Odesza: “Tomorrow,” the message reads, news that makes this evening somewhat of a Christmas Eve for an Odesza fan. The post may be accessed via the link below.
