Justin Blau, better known by his stage name, “3LAU,” has long been known for his philanthropic work, donating royalties earned from streams of singles released on his Blume label, a label strictly for charity. 3LAU has additionally been instrumental in his contact with Pencils of Promise, raising $200,000 dollars for the organization.

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey’s widespread destruction, 3LAU has announced his intention to donate all of the proceeds from his September 15th show to hurricane victims. 3LAU was originally supposed to play in Houston during the hurricane, but notably postponed the show for safety reasons. With ticket sales from the September 15th show falling at the $20,000 mark, 3LAU’s donation to the Mayor’s Hurricane Relief Fund will be a hefty one that will greatly contribute to rebuilding and recovery efforts.
