Mysteryland Joins Ranks of UMF, Drops Full Lineup
It’s an important day in the development of festival season.
With Miami’s own Ultra Music Festival—considered to be the kickoff event to festival season each year—having announced phase two—and therefore the complete lineup—of the Bayfront Park based festival at four-o-clock this morning, and New York’s Mysteryland Festival having dropped the lineup for the Bethel Woods’s festival’s 2017 edition at 11 AM, festival goers have a sharpened sense of what to expect in the months to come.
A three-day “music, culture, art, and camping festival,” Mysteryland has been a staple of the U.S. festival landscape since 2014, when the festival debuted on the 1969 Woodstock grounds in upstate New York. Although the festival has been an international presence since 1993, the festival only migrated to the U.S. in 2014.
A young festival at only three years of age in the U.S., Mysteryland will take place on Friday, June 9th and will extend to Sunday, June 12th. The festival will be headlined by G-Eazy, LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer, Big Gigantic, Die Antwoord, Porter Robinson, RL Grime, and Run The Jewels. The festival’s list of supporting talent likewise features several gems of the EDM genre, including Cashmere Cat, Anna Lunoe, Eats Everything, Illenium, and Zomboy.
Tickets to Mysteryland, a 19+ event, begin at $284 for those interested in the purchase of a camping package with their GA ticket, and $199 for those GA passes purchased without a camping package. Tickets may be purchased via the direct link below.
