Sun Won't Set on Moonrise Fest With This Phase Two Lineup Announcement
Although a note at the bottom of Moonrise Festival’s phase two lineup reveal reads “more artist announcements & reveals coming in June,” the Maryland based festival is sure to witness a dramatic drop in its stock of festival passes given the caliber of the second phase of the event’s lineup.
“Spring Fling” organizer, Kaskade, will join Atlanta rapper alias, Migos, and trap legend, RL Grime as headliners of the phase two tier. Flanked by Boombox Cartel, Breathe Carolina, Ganja White Night, Lee Foss, Snails, Habstrakt, Gashi, and a number of additional supporting artists, Moonrise’s already stellar lineup is rounded out by the series of diverse performers boasted by phase two. Slated for two days, August 12th and 13th, the first phase of the festival’s lineup touted Afrojack, Excision, Porter Robinson, Yellow Claw, Big Gigantic, Zeds Dead, Madeon, and Carnage, among other heavyweights of the electronic industry.
While a phase three announcement seems likely given the disclaimer at the bottom of the phase two lineup poster, it’s clear that Moonrise Festival has curated a roster of artists that will cater to the tastes of any and all dance music enthusiasts. Price tiers for festival passes continue to sell out and advance to the succeeding tier; 2-day GA passes rest at $159.50—GA Advance I—whereas 2-day VIP passes rank at $274.50.
