Moonrise Festival Evacuated [BREAKING]

As of 6:15 PM, attendees of Maryland's fourth installment of Moonrise Music Festival were instructed to vacate the premises due to severe weather forecasts, including torrential rain, lightning, and high speed winds. Moonrise was proactive in its evacuation, leading festival goers off the grounds before a raindrop could fall. The skies have since remained dark, with rain continuing to fall. In accordance with the weekend's unpredictable weather conditions, the fate of the festival moving forward too remains vague. Organizers have not commented whether festivities will continue into Saturday.

The weekend of the 12th & 13th has proven detrimental to festival goers thus far, with Shambhala eventually also evacuated at the threat of a nearby wildfire.
