Kygo To Release Ellie Goulding Collab, "First Time," Friday
It’s a good day to be a Kygo fan.
The Norwegian DJ co-released the official music video for “It Ain’t Me” with Selena Gomez today, a heart wrenching four-minute project that chronicles a motorcycle accident involving two lovers. In the midst of the fanfare surrounding the video’s stunning production, news of Kygo’s latest forthcoming superstar collaboration might have gone unnoticed.
The “Firestone” hit maker took to Twitter to share the artwork for the anticipated single, due Friday. Titled, “First Time,” the exclusive new track will call on the vocal talents of English singer, Ellie Goulding, known for her involvement with a number of dance music songs, including Zedd’s “Fall Into The Sky, and Seven Lions’s “Don’t Leave.”
What tone the single will take is yet to be seen, but as we can presumably all agree, knowing new Kygo is slated for the end of the week is sure to make the end of the week that much sweeter.
