Panorama stage collapses leads to cancellation of various sets

New York City’s Panorama Music Festival was a smash success, the adjective “smash” materializing in more of a literal form for one of the festival’s stages. Event attendees were evacuated Friday evening at around 5 PM once the floor was discovered to have collapsed in the Parlor stage, an indoor bubble tent area. The floor gave out during Isaiah Rashad’s set, cutting the set short, and unfortunately, leading to the cancellation of other artists’ sets scheduled at the Parlor stage.

Cherry Glazerr, Chris McClenny, and DJ Shadow’s sets were those to be cancelled and not rescheduled. Only Breakbot was rescheduled, performing Saturday at Panorama. Panorama officially apologized to the artists whose sets were unexpectedly cancelled on account of the technical issue on Twitter.
