Grandtheft Announces 2017 World Tour
In the latest trap/future bass news, Aaron Wasiglass—whom we know by stage name, “Grandtheft”—has announced a world tour, an initiative that will follow the title of the Mad Decent label signee’s most recent release in terms of appeal: the tour naturally will be an “Easy Go.” Ironically also the namesake of the 2017 tour, the “Easy Go” tour will propel Grandtheft to visit thirty plus cities, with thirty already announced in localities ranging from Spain’s Barcelona, to Miami, Florida. More dates are currently in the making as advertised by Grandtheft’s official website, where a note appears at the bottom of the tour poster enumerating already confirmed dates, “more dates TBA.” The tour is slated to kick off March 3rd in San Francisco, and notably will conclude June 10th at the Summerburst Festival in Sweden unless more dates are indeed added thereafter.
The Canadian DJ/producer has enjoyed commercial success via the drop of “Easy Go,” a single that calls on the vocals of fellow Canada native, Delaney Jane. Since its November 4th release date of 2016, Easy Go has amassed 1.13 million streams on SoundCloud, a testament to the rapidity with which the track has attracted interest.
While an official date for ticket sales for the Easy Go tour has yet to be announced, Grandtheft is expected to make tickets available soon, more specifically, in the weeks to come.
