The First DJ to Appear at Miami Music Week Has Been (Un)Officially Confirmed
The first DJ/producer to enter the sun soaked city of Miami during the 2017 edition of Miami Music Week has been confirmed, however “unofficially” that confirmation has been made via Twitter’s infamous 140 character limit.
A curious fan took to the popular social media platform to question "Lillo" producer, Eric Prydz, as to whether or not the powerhouse producer would be making any MMW appearances. In a perhaps unexpected acquiescence, Pryda (@ericprydz) responded in the affirmative, the tweet appears below.
In its seventh iteration this year, Miami Music Week, held this year from March 21-26th offers a diverse range of electronic dance music’s premiere talent. Spanning 75+ venues over 260+ events featuring 1,370+ artists, Miami Music Week draws attendees from all over the world to take part in the Florida based dance music celebration. Miami Music Week culminates in a festival finale: Ultra Music Festival, an event that attracts 165,000+ fans from 90+ countries worldwide.
As intended 2017 Miami Music Week visitors eagerly check their officially branded MMW phone application for artist and event announcements, some would argue that Prydz's self confirmation far surpasses the authority of an app announcement. We'll continue to maintain high hopes for the 2017 version of MMW, knowing that the "Opus" producer will be playing somewhere in South Beach at that time.
