Eric Prydz Debuts 4 new songs At Charity Events That Raise $60,000 For Cancer Research
Eric Prydz isn't only one of the biggest dance music artist in the world, he's also an amazing person that gives back to the community who loves him. Last month a fan by the name of James Lillo who was battling cancer asked Prydz if he could see him perform one last time at EPIC 5.0. Before the show could go on, James tragically passed away from his rigorous battle with stage four cancer. The news hit home and really affected Prydz, so he decided to turn the show into a charitable fundraiser in honor of James and all proceeds would go to his charity of choice, the Cancer Research Institute. Prydz spoke about James and said “His battle and story have affected me deeply, Now more than ever I wish to play this event to raise money for his charity and honor his memory.”
The two day event was a huge success selling out both shows, fans had an amazing experience and were donating to a great cause at the same time. Both shows raised a whopping $60,000 for cancer research and turned a tragedy into a loving celebration. Over the two day period Prydz debuted 4 new songs in honor of James Lillo, a truly notable way to celebrate the life and memory of James. Fortunately for the world fans captured the four brand new songs and named them Lillo IDs 1-4. Listen/Donate below!
