Disneyland Paris Announces EDM Festival at Park, "Electroland"
Disneyland isn’t just for kids anymore.
The billion dollar Walt Disney branded theme park infamous for its Tower of Terror and Mickey Mouse ears clad fan base announced an event expansion from mere family oriented events to a first inaugural electronic music festival, “Electroland: Where Music Meets Magic.”
Electroland will honor Disneyland Paris’s 25th anniversary on July 8th. As tickets begin to go on sale, confirmed artists include NERVO, Steve Aoki, Michael Calfan, and Richard Orlinski. The lineup will expand in coming weeks.
“Let yourself be dazzles by a huge concert at the foot of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror! Now is the time to share unforgettable moments around electro music, festivities, and rides in the company of world renowned DJs,” reads Electroland’s website, linked below.
Given Electroland's designation as an annual event, Electroland may very well rise to rest among the ranks of top grossing festivals like Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland after a few years of production and subsequent expansion. Ravers will want to find their Mickey or Minnie Mouse, the event hardly one to be missed in its introduction.
