Let's Talk About "Liberty," The Exclusive Dzeko Offering That Echoes His Newfound Solo Status
Following our recent re-visitation of EDM duo, Dezko and Torres’s November based split, we return to our discussion of the newly “single” Dzeko’s according single, a track called “Liberty” The new release, as recent as December 12, 2016, may be found on Tiesto’s Freedom Music label, founded in August of 2009.
“Liberty” evokes the Progressive House/Big Room sound for which Dzeko & Torres were originally known. The song consumes itself with the crafting of a consistent “trumpety” drop reminiscent of Tiesto’s style, and duly declarative of the direction that that of Dzeko’s now solo sound will take. The song is a fresh preview of Dzeko’s individual style to come, an introduction to the genre that many await curiously. As Dzeko continues to singularly produce and develop his own distinct musical style, festival season looms as the time in which this exclusive style may be revealed with increasing visibility. Just as there is much in store for the young Dzeko as he embarks on the pursuit of a solo production career, it appears that there is equally much in store for Dzeko & Torres fans in the warm months of May, June, and their successors, when festival season—infamous for its host of new IDs— may indeed signal the release of more Dzeko tracks.
