Muse, Lorde, Lil Uzi, Porter Robinson: sets cancelled after Lollapalooza evacuation
With Panorama’s Parlor stage collapsing on the festival’s first day of production, Britain’s Y Festival witnessing a premature muddy finale, and now Lollapalooza evacuated due to severe weather conditions, the 2017 festival season has not been without hiccups.
The Chicago festival was shut down yesterday due to inclement weather, the festival’s closure leading to the cancellation of Muse, Lorde, Lil Uzi Vert, and Porter Robinson’s closing sets. While three emergency evacuation shelters were located in the area of the festival for attendees, ticket holders were advised to return to their hotels until the weather could clear. Lollapalooza looks to resume production today.
