Watch: Chainsmokers Let Debut Album Name, Release Date Slip

In the style of their November XYLO collab, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall of The Chainsmokers have indeed spent their time “Setting Fires” in the EDM sphere, igniting charts with their Halsey feature, “Closer,” and most recently, smoldering at the 59th annual Grammy Awards show, where the duo closed on the Grammy award for “Best dance/electronic recording” for “Don’t Let Me Down,” a track that featured American vocalist, Daya.

Yet The Chainsmokers’ blaze hasn’t extinguished since their inaugural Grammy win; rather, Drew Taggart seemingly struck another match in a post victory interview with Entertainment Tonight, where the “Paris” singer accidentally exposed the release date, as well as the name of The Chainsmokers’ forthcoming debut album. Set to drop on Friday, April 7th, the album bears the same name as The Chainsmokers’ newly announced tour: “Memories: Do Not Open.”

As for the album upon its release? Buy a tangible copy and do just the opposite.
