Tiesto Named "Most Travelled Musician in World," Teases Bassy Heavy New Track With Sevenn, Listen Here
A recent report published by British news source, The Guardian, awarded Tiesto a new title, the headliner cited as “the most-travelled musician in the world,” Tiesto’s international musical endeavors tracking him 1,557, 131 miles over the duration of his career, a number that translates to almost 63 revolutions around the world itself.
Poised to only continue his collection of miles this festival season, Tiesto seeks to expand his national and international appeal without taking a single step, permitting his music to instead travel for him, traversing streaming services and social media platforms alike. On the heels of his “AFTR:HRS” supported remix of the Selena Gomez/Kygo collab, “It Ain’t Me,” comes another Tiesto branded release, primed to be a festival anthem.
Dubbed “Boom,” the track’s name says it all; the single, featuring Sevenn, features thumping bass lines and a darker, atmospheric vibe reminiscent of that of the ALOK/Sevenn club favorite, “BYOB.” Boom appears a subtle borrowing from the previous ALOK release.
Scheduled to drop on April 24th, the full version of Boom remains a few weeks off, yet the Dutch producer has generously provided an extended sample of the track on his Musical Freedom label’s SoundCloud account. Give the track a listen, the 1:20 snippet a satisfying sense of what is to come on the 24th.
