3LAU Set to Wow Summer 2017 With Release of Debut Album
When he isn’t mixing a new edition of “3LAU HAUS”—the progressive/electro house DJ’s thirty-minute mini set series posted regularly to cloud streaming service, SoundCloud—DJ Justin Blau, otherwise known as 3LAU, is devoting his time to philanthropy, his commitment to charity work materializing in the extent of his involvement with Pencils for Promise—where he raised close to $100,000 for the nonprofit educational organization prior to BLUME’s foundation—and in the establishment of BLUME, a charity label classified as the industry’s “first not-for-profit dance music label.” BLUME was the platform for the April 8th, 2016 release of 3LAU’s upbeat single, “Is It Love?” and likewise the October 14th, 2016 release of “Fire.” Funds generated by streams earned by the songs—i.e. a Spotify stream—and those earned from royalties are directly donated to Pencils of Promise, a collective that has propelled 3LAU to raise over $200,000 for the charity since.
In the midst of his focused philanthropy work, 3LAU took to Twitter on Tuesday, January 7th to reveal a little more about another project with which he is currently involved, namely the production of his debut album, set to drop this summer.

With the specifics of the album on the back burner until 3LAU offers more information about the details of the pending record, the triple threat DJ/producer/philanthropist is positioned to “3LAU” dance music fans’ minds this summer season.
