Riot Ten to Take Over Central Lounge for Trap Therapy
While the arrival of Friday simply means the end of the work week for some, to the musically conscious, Friday’s appearance has a greater significance: another session of Trap Therapy. Hosted regularly at Astoria, Queens soiree spot, Central Lounge, Trap Therapy welcomes up and coming trap artists notable for the buzz that they have already created in their musical genre via prior powerhouse releases, and for the acclaim that they will continue to generate via high energy sets at luxe nightlife locations like Central Lounge.
Bringing nothing less than the best in fulfillment of its reputation to attract the hottest, heaviest burgeoning trap producers, Trap Therapy will welcome industry phenomenon, Riot Ten, as the next producer to play to a Central crowd with an insatiable thirst for trap beats on Friday, May 26th.
Those in attendance at one of The Chainsmokers’ “Memories: Do Not Open Tour” dates will recognize Riot Ten’s single, “F*ck It,” immediately upon its Central introduction, the dubstep infused track functioning as the opening song of every single show on The Chainsmokers’ world tour. With twenty-two Billboard Music Award nominations under their belt, accompanied by a Grammy award and various iHeartRadio Music Awards, that The Chainsmokers have adopted F*ck It as the introductory song on their tour is a testament to Riot Ten’s musical presence.
Riot Ten’s most recent release, “Headbusta,” dropped on Kannibalen Records two weeks ago, a deeply satisfying preview of what is to come at Central once Riot Ten takes to the mix board. Riot Ten’s Central debut is poised to be a night of thumping bass set to travel from the floor, up attendees’ legs, reaching their very fingertips.
With admission to the Riot Ten show free before 12 AM via RSVP at Crust Nation’s official website, there’s no excuse not to make it out to witness what is destined to be an engrossing show. Attendees will have the chance to score a beer pong match with the trap aficionado by entering to win on Crust Nation's website.
Stream F*ck It and Headbusta below, then RSVP to the Central Lounge show on May 26th.
