DJ Snake previews new track during performance atop the Arc de Triomphe

DJ Snake is always up to something, it seems. The Parisian producer had announced on Sunday that he would be playing a show at an undisclosed location in Paris that would be live streamed via his Facebook and Instagram pages. That “mystery” locale would later be revealed as the Arc de Triomphe, designating DJ Snake as the first individual to ever play atop the monument. The historical setting was only fitting, what with Paris being DJ Snake’s hometown.

One wouldn’t deliver a performance from the peak of a monument without weaving some new material into that “monumental” set. DJ Snake accordingly worked “A Different Way” into his set, a song rumored to have been co-written by Ed Sheeran. The new track was punctuated by a male vocal—no, not Sheeran’s—that melded with DJ Snake’s energetic style. The full live stream of the performance appears above, but the less patient of us may skip to 19:52 to preview the new tune.
